Momoko is completing a Bachelor of science in Marine Science and Environmental science, while working as a Penguin keeper and dabbling in media. In her spare time you’ll find her drawing, dancing, or learning things about plants and animals.
Inspired by K’ Rd’s prolific nightlife, she wanted to showcase her admiration for the amazing make-up worn by different groups and especially the drag queens across K’ Rd. She used gold chrome eyeshadow and pink falsies to demonstrate this.
In the scene-scape bench she drew on histories of various institutes on K’ Rd throughout time, mostly ones that are well known amongst many demographics (George Courts mall), and other iconic spots such as Pink Pussycat and Las Vegas. In the windows she has sketched various bits of history, such as the Pacific marts and Doll’s hospitals - Taking into account stories she has heard of these various places.
