I am currently in my 3rd year of study at Elam School of Fine Arts. I predominantly create large scale paintings, toeing the line between abstract and formative qualities within my work. I am a bright, lively colourist and enjoy juxtaposing vibrant hues with slightly morbid and surreal  subject matter.

“My future vision for K road is for there to be a beautiful thriving community garden - worked by the people for the people! Therefore I propose to paint on my bench a lively colourful scene of flowers, foliage and other garden associated produce - to begin to plant the seed for the future of Karangahape Road Community Garden! I will include plants native to Aotearoa, that would have been growing historically around the area; such as Kowhai, Harakeke and Manuka flowers. To tie in the Polynesian Pacific migrant history I will paint flowers which are significant to these communities - Teuila, Allamanda, Ateate, Fou and Pua.”
